NOTES

Bookings
cannot be processed without full payment. If
you are attending for more than 2 days it is more economic to pay
the full or student registration fee.
PAYMENTS
You will recieve 2 confirmation emails - one with your booking details
and the second one, which is sent from a secure website, will confirm
your payment.
CANCELLATION
CHARGES
All requests for refunds must be put in writing and sent to admin@ipc3.org.
Up to 17 May 2010: 50% of registration fees will be refunded.
After 17 May 2010: No refunds MEALS
The registration
fee includes the Welcome Reception on Monday and teas and coffees
from Tuesday to Saturday.
A bagged lunch
will be provided each day consisting of fish, meat or vegetarian
sandwiches, baguettes or wraps, packet of crisps, fresh fruit, jumbo
muffin, a chocolate bar and 500ml of water. Different fillings will
be provided each day. The cost of lunch will be £9 per day.
The Conference
Dinner will take place at the Natural History Museum. Enjoy a banquet
beneath a huge Diplodocus and the soaring arches of the
Central Hall. This is an occasion not to be missed! Sponsored by
The Palaeontological Association and the Natural History Museum.
ACCOMMODATION
Participants are responsible for making their own accommodation
booking. We have reserved a number of rooms at Imperial College
and they have also recommended a number of hotels in the vicinity.
These bookings can be made via Imperial College's accommodation
website and the link for this will be available from the Accommodation
page on IPC3 website here.
Please note that London is a very busy venue especially
in the summer holiday season and hotels get booked up so early
booking is essential.
STUDENTS
Students are eligible for a reduced registration fee. In order to
avail of this special rate students must submit a letter of confirmation
of student status from their Head of Department or Supervisor and
email to admin@ipc3.org.
We must be in receipt of this confirmation before we can process
the booking.
ABSTRACT
SUBMISSION
Abstract submission
can only be made after registering in full. Details on how to submit
abstracts will be sent with confirmation of booking. The deadline
for abstract submission is 28 February 2010.
PUBLIC
LECTURE
This will take place on Wednesday evening, 30th June. Full details
on this event can be found here.
Admission is free but will be ticketed.

Old
Red Sandstone of Scotland, 22-29 June The trip will visit the best of Old Red Sandstone geology
at locations throughout Scotland and including Orkney.
Cost - £500
Devonian
and Carboniferous stratotypes, Northern France and Southern Belgium,
4-7 July
During this excursion many of the classical localities of the type
area of the French-Belgian Upper Devonian - Lower Carboniferous
will be visited.

of Wight, 25-27 June
The Isle of Wight provides spectacular coastal
exposures of Early Cretaceous through to Oligocene sediments which
have been important in the development of our understanding of palaeontology,
palaeoecology and stratigraphic concepts, and continue to furnish
new data. Cost £150
Highlights
of the Jurassic Coast, 26-28 June The
Dorset Coast of southern England has become one of the classic areas
for geology, with almost continuous successions through from the
Middle Triassic to Late Cretaceous. Cost
- £270 in single room and £220 in a shared or double
room per person.
